It really depends on the situation. For me, I have both because I usually need my laptop when I'm not at home and I also need my desktop for playing purposes. I know you can also play PC games in laptops but most of the PC games I play nowadays require higher specs of computer and the problem with laptop is that it's really hard to upgrade it. When it comes to PC, upgrading it is so much easier and it is much cheaper than to upgrade laptop. So when it comes to portability, hands down to laptops or notebooks but when it comes to upgrading it, I'd go with desktops. You should stick with desktops when you're an extreme PC gamer and modder like me.

I have recently bought a laptop! I believe that laptop is better because you can take it wherever you want. Laptops are more expensive than desktops but they worth their money. You don't have to make a room for you pc because it's like a book and you can use it anywhere in your room, even on your sofa. Desktops require a lot of space!

Usually, I go online when I'm here in our internet cafe and we are using desktop computers here. When I'm at home, I use my sister's laptop computer but only for playing computer games because we don't have internet connection at home.

I use both.

I do all my design work on my desktop cause I have 17" Flat Monitor so I can see the colors and everything clearly.

However my website's files are saved on my laptop. I update them from my new lappy :)

I do the forums posting also from my laptop.

Both, I use my laptop for paper works and web browsing and my desktop for web/graphics designing and playing games (my hobbies)

Both.. Right now I'm using primarily my laptop because my Desktop hasn't been shipped to me yet. When I have my desktop I'll mostly use that I love the 22" screen. :)

All depends on how tired I am. I tend to use the desktop when I am lively, and when I am tired I sit down somewhere comfy and turn the lappy on.
