I am thinking of adding some images and additional features into my site beaconparkboats.com. Will this affect the current ranking of the site. What things should I take care to make the site search engine friendly even after adding images?

No, Don't put many keywords on the images. Google doesn't like it and will treat is as keyword stuffing.

Just put the relevant image name or description on the image with ALT tag but don't put too many keywords in there.
