Hi i have a Site and i have to indexed my site in to search engine for SEO.. but i dont know the steps or methods for indexing ur site in search engine like Google,Yahoo.... SO plz help me suggest the methods or steps for indexing site..

Search the URL of your site in Google, Yahoo, MSN to see if it has already been indexed or not. Chances are it probably is!

If not, submit your site to some of the high-PR, do-follow social bookmarking sites, link your site's URL to the signatures of your posts on some high-traffic sites. Also write a couple of articles and submit them to some article sites with your site URL in the article.

Submit your site to search engines like google, yahoo, msn. Also very quick way to index your site is commenting. If possible try to comment on older digg pages with PR and you will get indexed quickly even sometimes within hours..

The best way is to build a Google sitemap and submit it.

And maybe submit a page or two to Digg, this helps get things indexed quicker.

All really good ideas, but Sam09 has hit it on the head :D Sitemaps need to be submitted to google, there are some good free ones that you can use.

The best way is to get the sitemap done for your website and submit it , then do some onpage for your website which includes adding meta tag , meta description title tags , H1 tags etc and then do off page for your website like social bookmarking , directory submission , article submission , press release etc :)

Google webmaster tools and Yahoo site explorer is the place where your site will be indexed. So summit to both of them, your website url and wait..It will be listed soon..

Getting indexing doesn't mean you get traffic/rankings

You need to get RANKINGS
Build backlinks using in anchor text your targetted keyphrases
